Anyone familiar with "Elfen Lied" knows of the notable music-box that Kohta possessed, and Lucy/Nyu admired. The tone that it played was melancholy, beautiful, addicting and memorable, and was a major theme through-out the series. Trying to find one in real life is like trying to find a Diclonius. After much research, it was revealed that Sankyo © had an 18-note mechanical movement of the song...but it wasn't of Elfen Lied quality.
I've contacted Sankyo©, and with the help of Tezuka, the international sales manager for Sankyo ©, we have been able to establish the creation of a 23-note mechanical movement that, sounds 99% identical to what you hear now...Thus was born the "Lilium Project".

The image to the left is the 23N mechanical mechanism that would be produced through the "Lilium Project" and available for purchase.

The "Lilium Project" has collected enough funds to pay Sankyo© their initial fee, thus the beginning phases of the "Lilium Project" have begun. Below is a list out of the phases of the"Lilium Project", including a phase dealing with the creation of the entire "Elfen Lied" music box!
As we will be working off of a "Limited License Agreement" with Sankyo©, these mechanisms will initially be able for purchase exclusively for the members of the site.
If you would like the opportunity to purchase a mechanism when completed and possibly a "Lilium" music box (if the phase is completed) and would like to stay informed about different happenings with the "Lilium Project", I would encourage you to please become a member of the site!
